Youth Ministries

One of the most important activities for our youth is Youth Night:

We strive to provide a engaging, supportive, faith filled environment where our youth are known, seen, heard and supported by mentors who walk along with them in faith and life.

* Youth Night (held each Wednesday night during the school year)
Kindergarten through 5th Grade meet from 5:00pm to 6:00 pm. Dinner is served at 6pm.
6th Grade through High School (college age are also welcome) meet from 6pm to 8:30pm

There are several opportunities for our youth to participate in fund-raising and faith-building activities throughout the year. They also participate in serving our local community. Some of the activities our students are involved in:
  • Evangelical Lutheran Church of American Youth gatherings (these are sponsored by the ELCA and offered to youth every three years from 9th Grade through high school seniors).
  • Mission Trips
  • Hike the Hill (raising money for Relay for Life)
  • Volunteering at the Hospitality Center
  • Volunteering for our meal programs
  • Homeless awareness
  • Cookie Walk
  • Cake & Pie Auction
  • Souper Bowl of Caring
  • Chili Cook-off
  • Super Bowl Subs
  • Bowling parties
  • Lock-ins (sleepover at the church)
  • Annual Six Flags Fright Fest trip
